G-Star needed designers with strong Figma expertise to build a design system. Over time, I not only helped create that system but also worked to improve their online presence. By focusing on key website elements, conducting research, A/B testing, prototyping, and user testing, I’ve supported G-Star in refining their user experience and creating single source of truth for their digital brand identity.

The Challenge
G-Star needed a scalable design system to ensure consistency across its digital platforms while facing challenges with fragmented design processes and a lack of a unified visual identity. Additionally, they aimed to continuously improve their online presence and enhance the user experience across their website.
Process
I began by assessing G-Star’s existing design practices, identifying inconsistencies and pain points. I collaborated closely with stakeholders to define the goals of the design system. Using Figma as the central tool, I developed a comprehensive component library with variables, guidelines and documentation. Simultaneously, I worked on improving the website iteratively, prioritizing key areas, conducting in-depth research, running A/B tests, prototyping solutions, and gathering insights through user testing.
